There are no resources in Antarctica that are useful to humans: it's too cold. It's extreme cold weather is why there is no native population there, no animals live there and nothing grows on the continent.

Further, all natural resources that may be there are protected from exploitation by The Antarctic Treaty, which dedicates 100% of the planet earth south of 60 degrees South Latitude to scientific research for the health of planet earth.
