What are the Seasons? |
[Improve]
Spring, Summer, Autumn, WInter
Each season lasts about three months. Changes in temperature and length of daylight happen during each season.
- Spring - brings the first warm days of the year after cold months. This is the season when plants are in bloom while animals mate and raise their young.
- Summer - the hottest time of the year. There are more hours of daytime than nighttime. Plants continue to bloom and crops in the field are ready for harvest.
- Autumn/Fall - the season when leaves wither and fall to the ground. The weather becomes colder. Animals start to store food. Others migrate to warmer places to escape the cold.
- Winter - is the coldest time of the year. Hours of nighttime are longer than hours of daytime. Some animals hibernate or sleep througout the season. Some plants become dormant.
There are 4 seasons. Spring is when the the bloosms bloom, summer is when there is dry hot heat, fall is when the trees change colors and winter is when the coldness hits and it snows. There are the sesons for ya!!!!!
