DISADVANTAGES, ARE THAT PARTS TO REPLACE, SUCH AS THE LCD PANEL IT'S SELF OR THE BACK LIGHTING OR EVEN THE INVERTER CIRCUITRY, CAN BE COSTLY, AT LEAST UNTIL THE TECHNOLOGY GETS INTO GREATER CIRCULATION, THEN THE PRICES FOR REPAIRS WILL EVENTUALLY TAPPER OFF.
