If you have had a miscarriage and are being sent for an ultrasound what are they expecting to see and will it tell you that you were pregnant or show any signs of previously being preg?

They could be checking for any tissue that was not expelled during the miscarriage. They may be able to tell that you were pregnant depending on how long ago the miscarriage happened, and if anything was left behind.

Had spotting and a lot of abdominal pain but test is negative?

If you think you could be pregnant contact your Dr or go to the Er. These are signs of a miscarriage.

When you have a miscarriage where is the pain in your stomach?

A miscarriage in the first trimester is going to feel similar to period-like cramping in your lower abdomen. Some other symptoms of having a miscarriage are: the passing of tan colored tissue, headaches, back pain, the passing of blood, white to pinkish colored discharge, and a sudden decrease in signs of pregnancy.

Can you have a miscarriage with out cramps chills fever or low back pain Just pass blood and tissue?

Yes you can. Chills and fever are signs of infection and it is quite possible to have a miscarriage without infection. A very early miscarriage may also be painless, though a later one witll probably give you cramps and/or lower back pain.

May have had a miscarriage you passed tissue but you did not save it and didnt think anything of it until you just started your period again i had no other signs or symptoms of a miscarriage?

Were you diagnosed as pregnant? If you were in fact pregnant and now started you period again you "did" have a miscarriage. In the early stages of pregnancy a miscarriage is not always going to have any major symptioms. Discharging tissue could be something else if you weren't pregnant. I would see a doctor if you continue to have such discharge in the future.

How do you tell the difference between a miscarriage and a threatened miscarriage?

A miscarriage means you have definitely lost the baby, there is usually lots of cramping and clots. A threatened miscarriage means just that, you are still pregnant but may miscarry in the future. Any spotting while pregnant can be called a threatened miscarriage and many women go on to have healthy babies. If you still have signs of pregnancy like swollen and sore breasts it is probably just a threatened miscarriage. Most doctors will order an ultrasound scan to tell for sure. I should think that a blood test (Quantitative HCG) would be more reliable than ultrasound. Levels are decreased in the case of miscarriage, threatened &/incomplete abortion, & if the fetus is dead.

You had cramping for a couple hours mild cramping and dark spotting. Is this signs of miscarriage or is it normal?

7wks pregnant bleeding for a week with clots and cramping which is getting more severe what does this mean?

These can be signs and symptoms of a miscarriage. Immediate medical attention must be sought. The most common cause of miscarriage in the first trimester (first 12 weeks of pregnancy) is the female reproductive anatomy.
