What is the minimum age a child can join Boy Scouts of America?

To joins the BSA ("Boy Scouts") you must be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old. There is another progam, Venturing, for people who are a little older, from 14-21.

Cub Scouts usually start in the first grade.
