What are the ancient Egyptian beliefs that the Egyptians had?

Answer:
The ancient Egyptians were polytheistic, meaning they believed in more than one god. The most important, in many's eyes, was Ra. Ra was said to be born each morning, ride on the sun throughout the day until he died again. He would then spend the night traveling the Underworld until dawn came and he was ready to be born again. Ra was not the sun - he simply rode upon it. They believed the sun was an entirely different god in itself.

Pharaohs, the rulers of Egypt, were also said to be gods themselves, and were revered.
