For: Revenge. Repeat offence not possible. Deterrent. Capital Punishment, if speedy, does not subject the state or federal governments to the costs of prolonged imprisonment. Punishment for wrongdoing against the society and culture and violation of religious infusion in the culture reinforces the authority of the state in relationship to the individual. Demonstrates the power of the state in its relationship to the subjects, i.e., the individual members.
