The "afterlife" consists of many things.

1) There is the judgment seat of Christ for all believers.

2) There is the marriage supper of the Lamb.

3) There is ruling on earth with Christ during the 1,000 year reign.

4) Then there is eternity. The Lord has seen fit to leave a great deal of information about the afterlife untold in His word.
