What are the benefits for using a wooden field hockey stick? In: Field Hockey |
[Edit] |
In General there are more Wooden Sticks than Composites made. as most sticks if they are not full composites do have wood in them as a base with all the composite stuff over the top of them like kevlar and gaphite...
so when you mean wooden i suppose you mean complete wooden sticks and not composites... if you are a beginner then wooden sticks are probably ok for you although lots of people are going for the wooden composites these days and i think the trade in general is going that way too... If you are a more experienced player then you should definately try a composite stick you will see the difference in play as some of them are very light indeed and that is probably the biggest benefit to composites...
