it depends on what kind of a light truck, the godyear fortera triple tread are suppose to be amazing for a quarter ton, suv, and half ton. but on anything bigger then than i would have to say BFG all terrain they last forever and are fairly good in winter but pile up in the mud and don't clean the greatest. but overall a good tire. but my number one pick would have to be the yoko geolander very aggressive but soft enough and grippy enough in the winter.
