I would have to say that Hawaii in winter time is pretty good that is the only place that I have surfed. Actually I surfed in the Gulf of Mexico in Texas and it sucked badly.
I heard parts of Australia are pretty good from a friend originally from Indonesia who has surfed that area a lot.
