What are the best presents to give your mother for Mother's Day?

• Something I did for my mom was I made her a bunch of cds with good songs on them. The first few were inpirational and i love you songs ect . and after that I added songs that were just good decent songs. They were good for her to listen to when making long trips (or even short ones). Instead of listening to the radio she had good songs and she could repeat ones she liked. I also made it a surprise every time a new song came on. So I made sure to add songs that were unknown so that she wouldnt just have a cd of songs that were popular at the time that she had heard a million times but new and good ones. Although I did include a few that were popular that I had heard her say she liked. plus when I was in the car it was basically like I was picking the music! a clue for you: a good artist that writes good inspirational songs is rascal flatts!

• A nice card, a bunch of flowers (whatever you can afford)

• The most precious gift of all is giving the full day of your attention to her. Go out for a nice lunch or special dinner and just have fun!

• I am going to cook all her favorite dishes for dinner on Mother's Day and I'm giving her a DIY custom-jewelry pearl necklace and matching earrings to match her new clothes she just bought. And my kids (five and seven) are going to play her a piano piece each; they have been secretly practicing for a few months now.

• If you are gifted in crafts give a gift like pottery, painting or knitting.

• Go to your local gift store and get some custom-made gifts with her name on it.

• Write her a poem, sing her a song or take her for a short trip: fly out of town or go on a cruise.
