The list of questions could go on and on, but I list some to show that the process of choosing a seminary is very individual. Choosing a seminary has very little in common with choosing, say, an MBA program. One must find out whether a seminary will at once fit with what you believe and also challenge you to stretch your understanding of God and God's people. It should have faculty members that can mentor you in your walk. It should have facilities and resources that are accessible and useful to you. It should have programs that fit your interests and passions. If you are married or have other important relationships in your life, it should include those people in the seminary community.
The best way to find the right seminary for you is to talk to folks you respect who have been to seminary and ask them why they chose their school. Also, campus visits are imperative! This place will be your physical and spiritual home for a good many years, so you need to experience it firsthand.
Blessings to all who need this information, and blessings to all in your life who will support your endeavors!
