In science years ago, I was taught that genes for brown eyes are "dominant" genes, so most people will have brown eyes (or variants of brown, such as green). See these articles that I found doing a quick search (and other articles you may find online from searches):

they're probably UV burns. if they are, they'll be sore when you first notice them (like they eye is bruised), and they'll never fade or go away. wear sunglasses if you're going outside, even if it's overcast, or you could damage the eye even more and eventually lose your eyesight.
Brown spots on the white part of your eyes might be a melanoma or might be just a common spot. These spots are generally harmless and are not unusual unless they are cancerous.
Brown spots on the white of the human eye could be eye freckles. These freckles are exactly like the ones found on the skin.
if it is only you that has these brown spots i would go see a doctor :)
i have brown eyes and they have no spots if yours do then maybe there is something wrong with your eye
They are like freckles in the eye, it is a pigment. Don't worry, they are usually harmless but if your are worried, consult your doctor.
You will have to ask an eye doctor why you have a brown dot in your eye. It might be a freckle.
dark spots around the cornea in eye
The clear part of the eye is called the cornea. It is the front section of the eye that is a covering for eye parts like the iris and anterior chamber.
There should not be white spots on the cornea of the eye. A healthy cornea is perfectly clear with no blood vessels, hazy or otherwise pigmented areas. If you have a white spot on your cornea, it may be a scar from a past infection or as in the case of one of my patients a foreign body (lke a chip of eggshell) that needs removing. Visit your eye doctor for examination, advice, and care.
The sclera is double the thickness of the cornea. The center of the cornea is thinnest, followed by the periphery, then sclera.
Sclera
The centre of the eye is called a pupil (the black spot). The coloured part of your eye is called the iris. You can get green, blue, sea green, blue-green, brown, hazel, dark brown and purple irises. Purple is most rare.
This is likely a corneal scar, possibly the result of an ulcer or an infection. However, if the white spot is actually behind the cornea, it is probably the start of a cataract in the lens. Regardless, unless the spot continues to get larger or you see signs of inflammation (redness, tearing, etc), you can probably ignore it.
The brown spot is the vestigial eye (represented by a white dot) located between the eyeballs.
