What are the colors of the visible spectrum?

Answer:
in increasing wave lengths:
violet, cyan, magenta, green, yellow, blue, red (red being the strongest wavelength)
The colors of the visible spectrum are innumerable to mention. More than 16 million colors have been known, but many more exist. All colors of the visible spectrum are formed by the combination of red, blue and yellow colors in specific proportions. For this reason, these three colors are called primary colors.
Try using ROYGBIV to remember them in DECREASING wave lengths. ( Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Magenta, Cyan, Violet)
