What are the consequences of teen pregnancy?

Answer:
You don't get to be someone in life you end up working and you don't get to have fun because you have to take care of a kid.

You are unable to provide a good foundation for your child who will likely end up at your own dead end unless you forget all about having any "fun" work very hard to make something of yourself.

A girl that I know gave birth at 14 1/2, and she has missed out on loads. The year had started preparing for our GCSEs and she has finally came back to school after all the gossiping. As the childcare service is right next to school she goes to see the baby at lunch times.

The father will bail out and most likely the grandparents will end up supporting both the mother and the grandchild
  • A life of poverty
  • Not finishing school
  • Going on welfare
  • More apt to be a single parent
  • No father in the home
  • Higher rates of prenatal problems/development

Within 5 years 50% of all the mothers will be on welfare.

60% don't graduate.

I think its better to give the baby up for adoption because it's best for the baby and its parent(s)
