After 50 years of independence i feel the problem with Nigeria, all started from the beginning of it creation/independence when those in the north want or rather believe that power belong to the north and should be shared among those in northern state only. the result of this has been seen in resent times that Nigeria instead of growing/advancing the negative is what we are facing today. This therefore have caused alot of damage in the Nigerian society like.1-poverty,2-injustice,3-curruption,4-greed,5-tribal conflict,6-death in the agricultural, technological, medical, academic, business, and even in the so-called petroleum industries in the country. and of which this ever growing/enlarging problem of the country can only be corrected by proper education of the Nigeria student within the ages of 12-18 on the danger of selfishness and greed in the society. Nigerian students should be tough the bases of good leadership and democracy and they should know that power is not to be misuse but rather to be use for and to the development of the nation and it's people.

In modern-day Nigeria, problems such as poverty, AIDS, and political unrest affect the country's populace. In developing African nations, including Nigeria, progress has been slowed by problems such as droughts, malaria, violence, and crime. Today, the citizens of Nigeria strive to move forward by fighting for a more democratic society, while also addressing the constant specter of poverty and political upheaval. For today's Nigerians, relief from disease, poor living conditions, and violence are the main social issues; solving these difficult problems will undoubtedly lead to a happier, healthier society.
