What are the differences between the Suzuki GSX R 750 and the Suzuki GSX750? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Year of production is not stated. Both these models are stalwarts of the Suzuki stable. GSX 750-F is a sports-touring bike, with a fairly relaxed riding position, plenty of fairing and uses the older generation motor tuned for more mid-range punch. GSXR-750 is a pure sports machine, one of the best handling motorcycles ever made with a power punch capable of frightening most people.
Both are very sweet bikes to ride, depending upon the purpose for which you want. The GSX-R carves corners like a razor, immensely capable machine that has limits way above the ordinary rider. Long distance touring on the GSX-R will bring you into contact with people in full leathers, toe sliders and also chiropractors or physiotherapists.
The GSX-F is a much more suitable long distance machine and quicker in the twisties than it looks - a deceptively quick machine. Both handle well, make excellent power and are bulletproof reliable with regular maintenance.
