We raise Dairy goats and to breed them .. first they have to reach the weight of 75 lbs.. then it has to be mating season.. usually between Aug. and Jan.... when a goat starts wagging her tail a lot...
Breeding goats depends on the breed of goat and where you live. Dairy goats (Saanen, Oberhasli, Alpine, etc) are able to be bred in the fall. They can take from late August to probably December....
Yes, and SOMETIMES it turns out really well. Other times it tastes really good. This is better left to a professional breeder, not a barkyard goat owner.
