There are not many disadvantages of the Galloway cattle. They are for the most part a great breed. The one downside may be the fact that they are not afraid to fight a dog or other animal that annoys them. Though for the most part, they are calm animals.

Most aspects of the Gelbvieh cattle are positive. They are calm, good mothers, good breeders, and good milkers. One disadvantage that is mentioned about them from time to time is that some may milk too heavy which causes the cow to become thin and possibly sick.
