You may choose an inexperienced doctor, or like some have, with a dentist that has been trained to do minor surgeries (I'm not joking, this has happened and people have died). The scars may not heal properly or may not heal at all. They may have trouble stopping the bleeding, the scars may be crooked, you may turn out looking nothing like you planned to, you may become addicted to the surgeries. Make sure you have a licensed plastic surgeon with experience. Do your research. Don't go for cheap when you're having any kind of surgery. You could die!!

Expensive and a waste of surgery time that is needed for operations that are necessary. When the patient is obsessed with their appearance and is also rich, it can lead to a Horror story like Michael Jackson, or that scary woman with the bloated lips and the cat-eyes.People like them should be treated for their mental disorder and their faces should be left alone.OK, It's not always bad. I know a very attractive woman who used to have a prominent roman nose, and I have to admit she is even prettier with a straight nose.

  • Expensive.
  • No longer natural.
  • Medical risk involved.
  • The result may be different to how you hoped it would be.
  • May regret it in the future.
  • Risk of becoming addicted to it which would mean all the other disadvantages re-occur.

Plastic surgery. Although it is created to improve the looks of an individual, there are a certain percentage of risks. Some may cause the skin to lose it's color. Well, the conclusion is that the results of this plastic surgery can never be predicted. The only way is to find a good doctor. I myself am a patient of this plastic surgery. To remove a cancerous mole. Th skin was predicted to look like normal but in the end it ended up looking like a layer of plastic skin.

Sometimes people choose to have cosmetic surgery to try and repair other aspects of their lives, the classic one being a failed relationship. In these cases Patients can end up disappointed with the results because afterwards they realise it was not what they wantd to do in the first place. It is really important that anyone thinking of having cosmetic surgery takes time to come to a desicion and seek out the advice of fully qualified Professionals on the GMC Specilaist register for Plastic Surgery.

If you are not sure of your motivation to have the surgery done, try talking to your GP

You left a very broad question. Plastic Surgery is divided in so many procedures that isn't easy to tell you about all side effects of each one. Nevertheless some of the most common effects are related to pos op, like; scars, discomfort, nausea, pain.. but they are all manageable by medicine and personal care products.
