Positive:

  • initial stimulation, then reduction in brain and nervous system activity
  • enhanced alertness and concentration
  • Fitting into a certain peer group
  • Relaxation feelings
  • Gaining attention
  • Rebelling against authority

  • Become more socially accepted to SOME people
  • mild euphoria (extreme happiness/joy/excitement)

None of these are GOOD positive things, in fact they are very stupid but some people enjoy these things, others may smoke because;

  • Peer pressure
  • Feeling depressed
  • Lack of experience and skill level
  • Feeling the need to fit into a peer group
  • Relaxation
  • Wanting to gain attention
  • Wanting to rebel against authority
  • Parents and family members do it
  • To impress people
  • Pleasure
  • Fun
  • All your friends do

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. NOTHING IS POSITIVE about cigarettes!! only to look to cool just to die 4rm lung cancer a few years later.... Or They provide employment for many people
