Interviewers tend to overrate their ability to read people, which is what psychologist Richard Nisbett calls the "interviewer illusion." Also, an interviewer's mood can greatly affect their first impression of somebody. Assertiveness can easily be interpreted as confidence OR arrogance. An interview may reveal your personality, but it can not predict your behavior towards others in different situations.
