To mind their own business. I never quite grasped the concept of some board of people elected as the guardians of good taste. Who exactly gave them that ability and by whose authority are their opinions what is in good taste?
This may scare the bejeezus out of you but your HOA is the best friend you have. By all means you should volunteer to become a part of it! Who will you go to when things start to turn to crap in your neighborhood? The HOA, of course. THINK ABOUT IT!
