Pluto is made of mainly Nitrogen and Methane, and its atmosphere consists of Nitrogen, some methane, carbon monoxide, and ethane. Pluto's surface temperature is about 44 degrees Kelvin. Pluto's diameter is about 2,340 km or 1,454 miles.
Dwarf planets are made up of the same things as other planets except they are smaller.

Dwarf Planets are made from the same stuff normal planets are, the left over material after the sun was formed. What makes them different is that they don't meet all 3 criteria for becoming a planet:

1. It has to independently orbit the sun, not some other body orbiting the sun.

2. It has to have enough mass to give it a spherical shape.

3. It has to dominate it's orbit.

That's why Ceres in the asteroid belt is known as a dwarf planet because it shares it's orbit with thousands of asteroids.
