A rather traditional (workday) eating pattern would be:
breakfast (bread, butter, ham and/or marmelade, coffee) ca. 0630h/0800h
[2nd breakfast, e.g. at work: same as breakfast, self-made, ca. 0900h/1000h]
lunch (heavy stuff like porkchops, potatoes, gravy) 1200h-1300h
coffee (cake, coffee) ca. 1600h
supper (like breakfast) 1800h/1900h
in bed by 2200h
still in many companies lunchbreaks are from 1200h/1230 - 1300h/1330h, but there is no such thing as a 'typically german' eating pattern.
