It's best not to drink while taking citalopram, but if you do, limit the number of drinks to one or two glasses of wine or one or two beers. Avoid hard liqueur completely. Stay home when consuming alcohol.

∙ 16y agoWell I did ok when I was drinking with it. I had about 6 beers on a night out on the town. But, the next day I felt confused, disoriented and generally lethargic. So, I wouldn't recommend drinking with that one.
