Effects Of Snorting Wellbutrin Concerta and Strattera:

• I'm a bi-polar male aged 26 and what was said about Wellbutrin being a psychedelic drug is true for me. But nothing as strong as acid just eyes playing little tricks, or when enough taken, difficulty reading simple signs. After 10 minutes I have this urge to stand with incredible posture and a grandiose feeling of confidence. Then my nose gets stuffed up as if I had a cold. Its not cool to feel great but sound like Steve Urkel. So I just do it at home. Even when the physical buzz and hallucination goes away the mood altering seems to linger for hours. I would also say its addictive because you need more each time and feel depressed for a few days without it. Pretty bad stuff.

• The effects of snorting Wellbutrin are different for people who have depression and those who do not. My friend who is crazy like me and I love it, and my other friend who is "normal" likes it a little bit. Mix it in with stuff if you are unsure. Either way none of this is good for you and be careful not to exceed moderation.

• I'm not sure who this person was that said that insufflating (snorting) Bupropion (Wellbutrin) doesn't do anything for you. I have been numbed up from Wellbutrin for days now. It will have no affect on you in small doses and I've noticed that the high tends to only please those with A.D.D. other people seem to not enjoy it. The burn is incredibly painful and I have suffered several nosebleeds from this even after removing the hard outer coating of the pills. The effects are as such... about 30 seconds after snorting between one to two lines will cause a numbing effect that will be noticed in the nose and the back of the teeth/roof of the mouth much like that of cocaine. The feeling that it induces is one that makes you "not care." My friend did it with me and was saying the feeling was similar to that of heroin. I've only done heroin with Ecstasy so I wouldn't know, but my friend used to be addicted to H. If you doubt my experiences then try it for yourself (not that I encourage it) and also notice that the person before me couldn't even spell Wellbutrin right. Thank you.

• It can cause nerve/brain damage resulting in many physical and mental problems. Such as seizures, memory problems, extreme anxiety, tremors, etc. And depending on the amount and length of use, heart and lung damage. Resulting in possible cardiac arrest and respiratory distress or failure. It other words, not a good thing to do, even if the consequences were minor.

• Take it from me, a kid that has sniffed every thing from OC's (that's Oxycontin for all of you not in the know) to Adderall to Wellbrution. I definitely did not feel a thing when I sniffed Wellbrution and the high of Adderall is much more intense when you eat it. The only thing that is really worth sniffing is coke or OC's. I like to mix them together in an inhaled cocktail, but that is just me. If you are reading this and wondering how a young kid could talk so frankly about drug abuse, let me give you the only answer I can. I am a member of the Adderall generation, addicted to drugs before i even knew what was going on. I recently wrote a research paper on the effects of Adderall on my generation and found out that kids on Adderall are 46% more likely to commit a felony while on Adderall and 36% more likely to commit more then one felony while taking Adderall. This made sense to me, as by the time I was 17, I was being tried as an adult for armed robbery and recently been convicted of felony assault. I had a long history of drug addiction and alcohol abuse in my family so, in hindsight, it may not of been the best thing to give me amphetamines at age 11 and continue to feed them to me for next 8 years. Just a thought, but if I was to have a child there would be no way i would even consider exposing them to drugs for any reason what so ever, less they have to learn the long, hard, lessons of drug abuse I am learning.

• No one answered the question... Adderall, coc, oxy, are not concerta or strattera! Wellbutrin a thing to you for a high. What happens in your body though? It does have amphetamine like properties, so whats the deal? Just so you know Concerta can be snorted and can be very fun, but be cautious! You need to shave your way to the core of the pill. there will be three colors. One of them is what you want, one is for time release.. Good luck figuring it out, I don't think it's worth it. I don't know anything about Strattera. Stay away from the bad medications; in general everyone stay away.

• Wellbutrin (bupropion) is truely a psychedelic drug. It can cause extreme hallucinations, some say it causes more vivid hallucinations than LSD. I have taken between 1.5g 1500mg & 2g 2000mg. This is a very risky dose. Seizures have been reported within normal dosage. Some people like me took the risk to find if it would cause me to have a seizure. I would say my body does not react to the drug badly by having seizures. It can raise your heart rate to extreme levels but I always take Inderall (a beta-blocker) with it to prevent high blood pressure and a very rapid heart rate. Every sensory organ is effected unbelievable visuals true visuals that you don't know if an object person or anything is there or not your sense of touch and hearing things. I have taken these high doses at least 10 times and nothing bad has happened. I will not recommend anyone to do this but if you do you will have an extremely hard time talking (you will be obvious) walking will be very difficult and be ready for a real life changing trip. Again I am not recommending you to do this but have someone with you (a sitter) that can help you know what is real and what is not.

• I take strattera daily, and I was wondering if people ever snort it, and what it would be like. I really don't feel much when I take it daily, though. But my girlfriend says I act dumber when I am not on it. 60mg daily orally.

• One thing about snorting wellbutrin, if your looking for something to perk you up or to help with add, not for a high, it works quite well.

• My friend and I crushed up a pill of concerta. There was a thick covering which we just got rid off and since the gray part was harder to crush up than the white we just took the white. I had a stuffy nose when I did it and it was even worse afterward. Not only has the nostril that I took it in been a lot more stuffed than my other one, I didn't feel anything while on the drug. My friend says she did.

• I just tried it, I take 80 mg/day. I opened up a 40 mg blue pill and snorted a little to see how it was. After two minutes it really burned, it wasn't fun. I have snorted Adderall and coke before and this burns in a way the other two don't. I don't recommend snorting this. I'm supposed to take this daily, and when I do it really helps, but it definitely has it's side effects. While i am hyper focused and really good at talking with people and studying while taking Strattera, I have been recently not taking it because it lowers my sex drive and makes orgasm somewhat unpleasant, about halfway through it almost starts to hurt then feels like I really need to urinate, but I can't. This effect goes away if I neglect to take it one day, but comes back the day I do and because this is a new drug I am worried about future side effects, and I will be talking to my doctor soon.

• People snorting Wellbutrin should read more about it from pub med (med line). Wellbutrin does not produce hallucinogenic effects...if you are snorting or orally taking it and you think you're having hallucinogenic effects you obviously have not had the proper dosage of LSD, booms or any real hallucinogenic drugs. it is extremely easy to seize on Wellbutrin if you take large amounts of it....doesn't seem worth the risk, go to a show and check out the lot scene...you'll be a lot safer doing something like that then snorting a bunch of bupropion. Not putting a damper on it I enjoy a fair share of things but know from much reading that your not going to find what you need from GSK's little drug...much nicer things out there that will not cause you to die but give a nice high.

• As someone who's been prescribed Wellbutrin, Adderroll, and Strattera...have a few thing to say on each. (I've been in the psychiatric ward twice and have been on a total of 13 meds so I have a lot of history with this stuff). Be really careful with Wellbutrin. I know a lot of people who have had severe problems while on the psychiatric ward just by taking Wellbutrin as prescribed. I took one dose and had a trip that was worse than most of the drugs I have ever done recreationally. I talked to my doctor and stopped taking it. I don't know anyone personally who has had a good experience with it. As for Strattera...I was on it for a while...but it didn't seem to do a thing for me. It's supposed to be a big thing because it is a non-stimulant, but I just found it useless... am on Concerta now...talked to my doctor and switched off Adderroll a while ago because I know myself and was abusing it a lot...be careful...I now have some visual hallucination stuff that happens even when I'm sober. It does have something to do with my recreational use in the past...but it is also a side effect of using/snorting Adderoll...doctors are saying I'll have those randomly the rest of my life...believe me, I know the desire and have done it quit it a lot in the past....just wanted to say be careful.

• Welbutrin is used for depression and needs a prescription. It is also used to help smokers go through their withdrawals. WELBUTRIN is not meant to crush, swallow, snort or anything else. You may think it's a fun high, but, I've worked in a psychiatric ward and I can totally agree with the one poster who didn't feel all that great on Welbutrin. Anyone that thinks snorting Welbutrin, crushing it and eating the inner layer is in for a shock. Wish I was there so I could drive your noses into a corpse with a toe tag down in the hospital morgue of one of the many deceased who decided to get a high of a certain drug and one being Wellbutrin! Keep it up and you'll end up with a toe tag! If you think it's not true I dare you to go into the morgue at the hospital! PLEASE do it for me! I'd love to be a fly on the wall. Smarten up, think straight. If you can't handle life on a day-to-day basis see a counselor.
