Reduce pain. As a result, the human body grows more dependent on pain pills when it encounters pain. Pain resistence decreases. When pain is experienced again, the human body is more sensitive to it and as a result we feel "more pain".

As someone who does this on the regular (ill snort about 15 percosets at a time) and doing plenty of research i can tell u that the desired effect is that it will break down the active ingredient (oxycodone) from the regular extended relase dose and allow you to receive it all at once, which cuases a euphoria.

how ever a percoset that contains 5mg oxycodone contains 325mg aceitominaphin (Tylenol) therefore when you snort the pill it is mostly just the Tylenol that is absorbed... the actual codine will be lost (probaly turned into a buger you will just pick out later)

personally, i have found it to be much more effective to crush the entire pill and mix it with water, or chew it... this still allows it all to hit you at once while making sure none of the oxycodone is lost

Very bad. People are injecting them as well and over time the fillers they use in the pills can cause vein blockages as well as in the lungs and both can be fatal.
