- Moses. Moses did not attempt to hide the source of his writing, but readily acknowledged that it came from God.
- David. Another major contributor to the Old Testament, David, experienced the same dual authorship of his manuscripts.
- The prophets. As you read the writings of the major and minor prophets you cannot help but be impressed with their reliance upon God for their message.
- Disciples. Jesus promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would enable them to record the Word of God.
- Paul. The apostle Paul acknowledged God had given him a special revelation.
