The five boroughs of New York City are The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island (a district also known as Richmond County).

In New York city government the geographical area of Staten Island is officially the Borough of Richmond. Note too that the Borough of Brooklyn is Kings County.
