In a traditional Monopoly set, the railroads are Pennsylvania, Reading, Short Line, and B&O. Other sets are different, because they are customized for different countries and languages. Some are customized for Cartoons and don't have railroads at all.
There are several versions of Monopoly. If you're referring to the classic version, then they're King's Cross Station, Marleybone Station, Franchurch Street Station, and Liverpool Street Station
The four railroads in standard Monopoly are:The B&O (Baltimore and Ohio)
The Reading (pronounced "redding", not "reeding")
The Pennsylvania
The Short Line
Of the four, three of them were real railroads serving Atlantic City (the place the street names come from ... at least mostly) at one time. "Short Line" is a generic term for any small railroad serving a limited region, and it's likely that the inventor of the game had a local light rail or tram system in mind when he named it.
They are Reading, Pennsylvania, B&O, and Short Line in the game of monopoly.
