What are the health benefits of Oolong tea?

Answer:
Oolong teas are a class of teas, originating in China and now also grown elsewhere, which are intermediate in characteristics between green and black teas.

Oolong tea, like all tea from the Camellia sinensis plant, has a number of health benefits. However, some of these are backed by more solid science than others. There have been studies that have found that drinking oolong during or after a high-cholesterol meal lowers the intake of fat content in the blood. There are also some studies that it promotes healthy teeth, skin and bones. However, all tea seems to have similar health benefits and there is very little evidence to suggest that oolong is any more healthy or less healthy than other types of tea. It is likely that all teas have similar effects.
