The granola ingredients are very healthy, usually consisting of oats, grains, nuts and sometimes honey or dried fruit. It's a good source of fiber and vitamins. How it's made is where it can go south on the health scale. The best kind is baked organic, with no added sugar. Always check the label beforehand, as some granola is very high in fat. Basically the more plain it looks and sounds, the better it is for you.
