THE INFLUENCE OF IDEALIST IN Nigeria EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM. 1) it is interesting to find out the practically, all the aims of education recommended by the idealist, namely intellectual development, self realization, character development and development of the society are part of the aims and objective of Nigeria education. 2) it is also true that practically all the subject recommended by the idealists are taught at all level of our educational system. 3) the idealist insist on moral values as essential to the attainment of good life. The nigerian educational policy emphasizes the inculcation of moral value in here education. 4) the teaching methods recommended by idealist are what we find in our schools adopted by our teachers. 5) the idea of a teacher serving as an idea model for the pupils was strongly stressed by the idealists. The ethics of teaching profession in Nigeria demands, thus and education ideas is encouraged at all level of nigerian education.
