Although statistics suggest that the viewing total is declining, repeats of classics are still enjoyed by the British as well as all over the world. Some people believe that the apparent decline is become of the continuous line of new American sitcoms coming to Britain. We do have current sitcoms becoming more and more popular by young and old, Gavin and Stacy, Peep show and My Family. I feel that over recent years sitcoms have not lastly long enough to become a 'classic'. over time ,humor on television has changed alot -language :nowadays in sitcomes use more slang and bad language because people are alot more nown to this kind of language .where as in the 1950s-1980s people would not think of using bad language as it might shock the viewers -Rasisum:Old sitcoms use alot more racial language eg.pakki,coonsetcnow classes as racisum . -sex sences;Nowa days some contain more sexual refrences eg sexual discrimanation .. on the busses make smak peoples bottoms carry on films in sexual ways now called sexual harassement . -Gays .are you being seved ?camped up .. remarks against gays ..attitudes have changed !
