What are the knife laws in Colorado?

Answer:
if the blade is over 3-1/2 inches illegal for a fixed blade knife, ex. Bowie knife, for carrying. you can have up to a 6" folding knife, no automatics of butterflys tho. You can own them but it is a felony to carry one.
-Actually, that's not 100% true. I just got done looking through Colorado Laws, and talking with my father and his friend, (father has concield permit, and friend is an instructor for carry classes) and they both told me, that in the state of Colorado, if it isn't concelled, its completley leagal, which I just checked on, and its true. what was mentioned above is for conceled weapons only! You can carry a loaded M-1 Garand rifle, with a fixed 10" bayont on it into a park, and it is completley legal. But, certain cities might have ordincances which give them the right to ask you to leave the property. Now there is always someone who will call the police and complain, which then puts you at risk for a law suit, or even a short amount of jail time... so I would suggest not doing it... don't you just love ignorrant American citizens, they take way all the fun! If it werent for them, I'd take my knife with me everywhere. just be aware of the definishions of conceled... because if it is, its is very very very illegal!
