The stages are Baby(usually a few days old), then 5-7 months old the baby will ride on it's mother's back. It can walk by 4 years but stays close by it's mother's side for about 5-7 years. A chimp will reach maturity from 8-10 years. Then it is an adult and can forage for food on it's own. The chimpanzee will then go of on it's own. The reproducing system will give birth to yet another baby chimp and the life cycle will start over again.
