AIDS, or HIV, is an STD, or a sexually transmitted disease. You can get it by having intercourse (sex) with some who has already been infected with the disease. Also I have to add that aids is a virus wich affects the inmune system. Being the lungs the first line in the inmune system, most aids related deaths were due to pneumonia. AIDS is also a lifestyle disease because you can prevent developing AIDS by living a healthy lifestyle.

depending on the type of person you are...it may or may not be......in other words if you live in a home where persons have no control over each other you are likely to believe this is true........but if you come from a decent home;a civilized area you are likely to deny this statement.

HIV is a virus. AIDS is a disease caused by that virus. Neither of those are life styles, although they can certainly have a stong influence on the way people live their lives.
