What are the longest running rivalries in NCAA football?

• Since 1888 the University of Cincinnati has played Miami(OH) in the Battle of the Bell. To the victor goes the Victory Bell. It is the oldest college Rivalry west of the Alleghenies and 4th oldest in the nation, to Harvard/Yale, Lehigh/Lafayette, and Princeton/Yale.
• Arizona State University - University of Arizona: Oldest recognized Rivalry Trophy dating back to 1899.
• Texas vs. Texas A&M Oregon vs. Oregon State Yale vs. Harvard Ohio State vs. Michigan
• I don't think Ohio State-Michigan is the longest running though is definitely the most famous. I'd have to go with Yale-Harvard. If you're talking Division I-A, it seems to me that I heard that Auburn and some other SEC team have played more than 110 times.

• Nobody seems to mention Clemson and South Carolina. They've been playing since the late 1890's CONTINUOUSLY.

• Actually, I'm pretty sure that Wisconsin/Minnesota is the longest. It's been going since 1892. Georgia/Auburn have only been playing since 1902.

• Yes, while the SEC rivalries are the most heated and serious rivalries, I think the longest is probably an ivy league school or one of those ones like Cal over in the west.

• While the SEC does have some big rivalries. I would have to say that the "Red River Battle", OU vs. Texas is the biggest rivalry in college football. And, that is not just my opinion. Many sports polls have shown that this is the opinion among football fans and sports writers.
• The oldest currently running rivalry is The Game, Yale and Harvard. They first met in 1875, Harvard winning the first contest 4-0.
• Oklahoma State vs oklahoma isn't the longest but its a good one.
