The theme song of the popular sitcom Three's Company was called 'Come and Knock on Our Door.' Joe Raposo wrote the music (he also wrote and sang a lot of songs for Sesame Street and The Electric Company in the seventies). Don Nicholl wrote the words, later; and ray Charles (NOT THAT ONE, another one) and Julia Rinker sang it, after the three leads had a bad go at it.

Come and knock on our door

We've been waiting for you

Where the kisses are hers and hers and his

Three's company, too!

Come and dance on our floor

Take a step that is new

We've a loveable space that needs your face

Three's company, too!

You'll see that life is a ball again and

laughter is callin' for you

Down at our rendezvous,

Three's company, too!
