Hinduism is an absolutely holistic religion. Therefore, there are no set of beliefs like in other religions. The beliefs form a wide spectrum and at the ends of the spectrum the beliefs are antagonistic.
Thus, at one end Hinduism is an orthodox religion and at the other it is just a way of life.
However, there are certain facts common to all these beliefs.
They are,
1. Absolute freedom is sacred.
2. Facts are as important as beliefs.
3. We are created to dwell at the junction of our real and imaginary worlds.
4. Our body and mind are equally important.
5. Our imaginations are as important as our real world
6. Gods are nothing but forces within us but can live virtually outside us.
7. Equality and discrimination are equally important for a healthy society
8. Unity should be due to opposing beliefs in equilibrium.
9. Living at the mercy of god is as important as living independent of god.
10. God created all human beings. However, a human being can create a god to suit just him.
