In diverse Buddhist schools or lines, Buddha is represented in diverse positions, some with meaning and others not. The most common lotus positions reveals Buddha in the position of mediation in which he attained enlightenment.
Enlightenment means to have found out the meaning of life and because of this became spiritually enlightened and past into the next world ( if there is one)
