This is very good question! It is a privilege to get first opportunity to answer the same. You need many minerals in your body to keep it healthy. The salts of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, are well known and most abundant of all. You need traces of Iron, chromium, manganese, cobalt, nickel, copper and zinc. You need traces of Iodine. Scandium, titanium, vanadium, gallium and germanium will be discovered as trace elements very soon. ( Please, see the Periodic Table to know it.)By the way this list is not complete. It can not be completed in near future also. The worst thing about humanity is that humanity is very much ignorant. It takes some knowledge to know that you are ignorant. Humanity lack this knowledge too.

The life has evolved in the nature. The cell must have taken many minerals from the nature for proper functioning of the physiological processes. Few elements might have been used in nano quantity by your body. You may never know about them.

The best way to obtain the minerals necessary for your body is to obtain them from the natural sources. Fruits and vegetables will give you most of the essential minerals. But not in enough or surplus quantity. Just enough of it. Plants may be suffering from the deficiency of the essential minerals. As all the minerals may not be present in the soil in enough quantity. You may not or to say do not eat the fruits and vegetables in enough quantity.

The very important supplement of minerals can be obtained from natural salt sources. For example, Himalayan rock salt. Himalayan rock salt contains many trace elements in it. You must not eat the refined salt in your food. You must use the rock salt. It will give you all the unknown essential minerals needed by your body. I do not know exactly the quantity needed of the Himalayan rock salt. But if you add a pinch of Himalayan rock salt to the food three times a day, it should do.Nature has given you natural source of the same. (As such the sodium chloride is not good for the health. Five grams per day of sodium chloride should do, Except in hot tropical climate, where you need extra salt.)

I personally believe that by using Himalayan rock salt many cancers may be prevented to the extent.

It's my request to you to use the Himalayan rock salt carefully and judiciously. These stores of Himalayan rock salts are abundantly found in the nature. But these stores are the property of the coming generations also. So it is wise decision to use the share of your generation only.

How can you lose weight with healthy diet?

You lose weight on a healthy diet because you tend to burn more calories than you eat and there is also less sugar or fat intake.Maintaining or attaining a healthy weight is the result of a healthy lifestyle, not just a healthy diet. Proper exercise is as important as proper diet. Part of it as well is a a proper attitude. Eating until you are full, or until you've "cleaned your plate" is not part of a healthy diet. Eat until you've had enough, then stop. Some people confuse a healthy diet with an (unqualified) vegetarian diet. A vegetarian diet can be very heavy into sugars, low in protein and lack many minerals and amino acids your body needs. There are many healthy vegetarian diet regimes but these take some planning and often the help of a good dietician to work out.
