All well-trained and well-behaved dogs are "like-able." Choosing a breed of dog is a very personal decision based on a variety of factors including but not limited to your lifestyle (ie: the amount of time/attention/exercise you have to give) and of course, personal preferences.

All dogs, regardless of breed or mix, require a great deal of time, energy, training, attention and care. If you start with a puppy or dog of sound temperament and train him or her well, you will have a dog that is liked by virtaully everyone. Good luck!
