The Ten Prophets are
1. King Seeradhwaja Janaka. (father of Sita who married Rama)
2. Abraham (father of Judaism).
3. Moses (the ten commandments were given to him).
4. Zarathustra (First Aryan Prophet) First to preach a monotheistic religion and to reveal that their was only one God.
5. Lao Tzu (Taoism originated with him) author of Tao Te Ching.
6. Confucious (Confucianism originated with him) sought to restore China to the condition where its kings were virtuous, ruled wisely and created peace and harmony.
7. Socrates - Invented the practice of philosophical dialogue.
8. Mohammed (Prophet of Islam) (taught and united the Arab tribes in love of the One God)
9. Guru Nanak (Founder of the Sikh Religion) A great Seer, Saint and Mystic.
10. Sai Baba of Shirdi - Came to bridge the gap between Hindus and Muslims.
There have been many other great personalities, such as Jesus, the son of God, Buddha and other divine incarnations. These ten however are the ten Prophets.
