Negaive------ addiction, playing games, strain to eyes, watching the unforbidden sights, hacking, downloading unwanted information pics, only listening music etc

- They can do research for various assignments and sometimes get answers more quickly than using a library.
- They can send and receive email, allowing them to communicate more quickly than with postal mail.
- They can take coursework and related tests without needing to attend class on the class' schedule.
- They can interact with the school in various ways, as needed.
Those were some of the positive effects. Some of the negative effects are...
- They can allow their use of the Internet to distract them from their required coursework.
- They can search for answers to homework questions and copy/paste the answers into their papers without taking the time to actually do the work and learn the material.

∙ 9y agoOne major down side is cyber bullying. It can cause some students to commit suicide over what people say over the internet. Another down side is that people of any age, not just students, can easily get distracted with the internet.
