The latest campaign to raise awareness about veterans was seen on American Idol Wednesday night. The host of the popular reality show was sporting a special pin on his lapel. It is a pin that is the number 6 with a star in the center of the numeral.
The latest celebrity to wear a pin on television, this campaign is getting people to notice an issue that is still being discovered. While some awareness about the campaign is known, the official launching isn't until Thursday morning. Giving just a glimpse about the pin, Ryan Seacrest's Director of New Media at Ryan Seacrest Productions, Sadao Turner let people know the meaning.
"The pin @RyanSeacrest is wearing is for @GotYourSix campaign for veterans launching tomorrow," tweeted Sadao Turner. The message was then forwarded by Ryan Seacrest to his fans who were watching online.The Got Your Six pins have been seen on other celebrities in Hollywood including Tom Hanks, Carson Daly and even Howie Mandel.
