Chocolate began in a bitter, liquid form called Chocolatl from the Aztecs and Myan indians. One drank it hot and the other cold. It was poured from great hights to create a foam on top. Eventually the Aztecs conqered the Myans and later the spanish conqered them and began to drink Chocolatl. It was too bitter for them so they sweetened it with sugar. This was the original chocolate!!
