Letter S. A great letter. Although letter C sometimes makes the same initial sound, letter S is the only letter dedicated to that sound. To me, it is also a lot more elegant and sinuous. Plus, letter C could be removed completely from the alphabet and we would get along just fine... replacing all instances of C with K or S. It is believed by some that the letter S was developed from ancient Greek.
